As a chess coach he has worked with the 2020 Candidate for World Championship Kirill Alekseenki and GM Vladimir Fedoseev, working to improve their opening preparation.
- He has worked as English language commentator in official FIDE events such as the FIDE World Cup 2019, FIDE Grand Prix Stage (Moscow, 2019) and 5) FIDE Candidates tournament 2022 among others;
- He is a fluent English and Spanish speaker, who has a complete approach to studying openings, middlegames and endgames;
- He is very attentive and empathetic to his students’ needs and has the ability to identify students’ strengths and weaknesses.
While teaching the right approach for self-study between lessons, he always engages students in a fun and entertaining manner, making sure the students never get bored during their lessons. GM Yuffa prefers to work with serious students ready to take on new challenges.
